Southern Med Law Continues To Represent Clients in Defective Medical Device and Harmful Drug Lawsuits From Their Birmingham Office

Southern Med Law Attorney Dr BlaudeauDr. François Blaudeau and Southern Med Law are pleased to announce that they will be representing clients in medical malpractice lawsuit and negligence lawsuits against the manufacturers of defective medical devised and harmful prescription drugs from their offices in Birmingham. Dr. Blaudeau recently settled a $300 million DaVinci Robotic surgery lawsuit with Intuitive, has settled numerous morcellator cancer lawsuits over the last year and recently filed another Mirena pregnancy lawsuit. Dr. Blaudeau is also investigating talcum powder cancer lawsuits alleging talc-based products can cause ovarian cancer. In addition to the cases noted above, Southern Med Law is also investigating birth injuries and birth defects allegedly related to the Mirena IUD. The Firm is currently representing a family in Alabama who lost their baby in 2012, allegedly because of Mirena’s failure to prevent a pregnancy and due to problems in locating its strings, which made it difficult to remove the IUD. As a result, an intrauterine infection occurred which caused premature birth of the baby whose lungs were not fully developed (Case No. 02-CV-2014-902242.00, Mobile County Circuit Court)
